Like any industry in its growth phase, the media industry too has often empowered and rewarded its people giving more emphasis on performance/calibre more than years of experience. As compared to their counterparts from more evolved industries, there are enough and more cases of merit taking over age in the climb up the corporate ladder for talented people, and we have many young achievers in the industry.
